What the site lacks
Nothing here follows you around. Analytics tools, advertising pixels and profiling packages are absent, so there is nothing to opt into beyond the notice itself.
Two entries, listed
The complete storage list holds just two entries: the cookie-choice key this site sets in local storage, and the Google map that loads with the contact page as one of the firm's contact details. Nothing else is saved, in any category.
Why the map arrives early
The map on the contact page is set up as part of the address — the way an office number is — so it loads together with the page rather than behind a click. The result is that Google receives your IP address and some browser data at that moment, under Google's own conditions.
Getting around it
Every contact detail is printed as plain text on the contact page and repeated in each page footer, so a visitor who avoids the map loses nothing but the map itself.
Change of heart
Clear this site's storage in your browser to withdraw the choice; the notice then presents itself again on the next visit. Nothing else needs unwinding.
