Who sits behind the record
Where your data is concerned, the controller is MORENCE LTD of 1-3 The Cottages Chapel Lane, Bootle L30 7PD, registered at Companies House as No. 17431315. Any question lands at the same desk as any other: +44 7340 695666 by phone or [email protected] by email.
Why anything is stored
Data reaches this website in one manner only — you email the office yourself. The purpose is answering your enquiry, and beyond it, keeping a job file when work follows. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR for enquiries leading to work and 6(1)(f) for correspondence a small business keeps in the ordinary run of things.
The form and the inbox
Our contact button fills in your email application rather than posting to a server. The website itself stores nothing; your message reaches us as ordinary email, like a letter that typed itself.
Keepings and extraneous details
An ordinary enquiry carries your name, contact details and message text. Survey addresses join once work is discussed. Anything more is not requested; please do not send identity documents or payment details by email.
Who sees what
Only the company itself, plus the processors providing our email and hosting. No mailing lists, no resale, no exchange with other trades except where you instruct us to coordinate one.
Keeping, and how long that lasts
Exchanges that lead nowhere are held with the correspondence for as long as the matter remains open, then cleared at routine review. Job papers are kept as accounting limitation rules demand and no longer.
What people typically write about in construction
Enquiries usually describe a fault, a room that needs refitting, or an opening someone wants to have analysed for an extension.
Your rights over the record
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection are all available to you. One short letter or call starts the request, and no more than a month passes before the answer arrives.
Complaint routes
Raise problems with us first, in writing or by phone. Beyond that, the Information Commissioner's Office supervises data protection across the United Kingdom; its details are at the ICO address published online, and the route to complaint is available at any time.
