These terms explain how an agreement with MORENCE LTD begins and runs, alongside the written quotation for the specific job.

Who contracts with whom
Agreements are concluded between MORENCE LTD, registered at Companies House as No. 17431315, and the client as named on the written quotation. The registered office sits at 1-3 The Cottages Chapel Lane, Bootle L30 7PD.
How the matter begins
Written quotations remain open for thirty days. The contract comes into being once you accept in writing or instruct work in writing. Spoken arrangements do not bind either side.
Changes in mid-flight
Extra tasks are performed only against a written variation agreed in advance. Work requested over the fence shall not be carried out on unpapered terms.
Putting a price together
Prices are written in pounds sterling and itemised against the surveyed scope. Invoices fall due within fourteen days; statutory interest and recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998 apply to late sums.
When plans change
Appointments cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice carry no charge. Later cancellations may attract a reasonable share of the reserved time, which is communicated before the day.
Closed lips
Plans, surveys and pricing for your premises stay confidential, and that obligation survives the job's end.
Where the buck stops
Liability is capped at the fees paid for the job concerned; indirect and consequential loss is excluded insofar as law allows. Nothing removes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
The law applied
Contracts are governed by English law and the ordinary courts decide disputes. Complaints are put to the office first so they can be picked through in writing.
